TOPIC:   Ungodliness and Anti-Christ Tendencies/Activities 

TEXT:   II Timothy 3:1-9.

AIM: 
To be determined and courageous to Stand against ungodly and anti-Christ tendencies/activities that scriptures warn will characterize the last days.

INTRODUCTION: The last days are characterized byincreasing ungodliness, with anti-Christ activities buffeting the Church. What is ungodliness? It is the exclusion of God from our lives; denying, disobeying or walking against Him; being not devoted to God; and having no consideration or reverence for God in our living. A key feature of it is the attempt to rubbish Christ’s redemptive work of grace-His Person, plans, programmesespecially the “parousia”(Second Coming). But if Christ did not die, then our faith is vain; if Christ is not coming to rapture His Church, then we can live as we please-according to our flesh and the world. These will certainly produce unholiness.

CONCLUSION:
There are certain things in these last days that a child of God may not be able to doing anything about, except to pray hard and wait in hope on God for deliverance and help. Our study tells us much about this:to gird our loins however, to fight ungodliness as much as God enables us, andbeingmindful of what we are taught inGal 6:1, 2 and Matt 13:28, 29.
